Semaglutide dosage calculator
Calculate your semaglutide reconstitution volume, weekly injection dose, and estimate how long your vial will last. Enter your vial size and target dose below.
Reconstituting a 5 mg vial of Semaglutide with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water gives a concentration of 2.50 mg/mL. At that concentration a 0.25 mg dose is 0.100 mL, which is 10.0 units on a U-100 insulin syringe, and one vial yields 20 doses of that size. Change the vial size, water volume or target dose and the arithmetic changes — the table below covers the common doses, and the calculator handles any combination.

Common doses at a glance.
Every row assumes a 5 mg vial reconstituted with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water, drawn on a U-100 syringe.
| Dose | Volume | Draw to | Doses per vial |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0.25 mg | 0.100 mL | 10.0 U | 20 |
| 0.5 mg | 0.200 mL | 20.0 U | 10 |
| 1 mg | 0.400 mL | 40.0 U | 5 |
| 2.4 mg | 0.960 mL | 96.0 U | 2 |
How the arithmetic works.
- conc = 5 mg ÷ 2 mL = 2.50 mg/mL
- vol = 0.25mg ÷ 2.50 = 0.100 mL
- units = 0.100 mL × 100 = 10.0 U
A U-100 syringe is graduated so that 100 units equals 1 mL, which is why the volume in millilitres is multiplied by 100 to get the mark to draw to.
This tool does unit arithmetic and nothing else. It does not know your body weight, bloodwork, medication interactions or tolerance, and it does not recommend a dose — the dose you enter is the dose you chose. It assumes a U-100 syringe and full dissolution of the compound, and it cannot account for measurement error, product purity, or a vial that was under-filled. PeptideIQ does not sell, prescribe, or recommend research compounds. Reconstitution math is provided for educational reference. Dosing decisions are between you and a licensed clinician.
